My 5 Favorite Ways to Learn German with Youtube

These are my favorite resources for studying German using Youtube videos. I am not fluent in German by any means, but so far, these are sources that I find helpful. I use these videos, alongside using the free language learning app, Duolingo.

Learn German with Jenny

I like this German language channel, because she is so easy to understand and thoroughly explains German grammar. Check out the beginner course below!

Deutsch für Euch

This channel is informative and entertaining, giving funny ways to memorize vocabulary. I do find her pace fast when she explains grammar, but overall easy to understand. I do find that I have to rewind some episodes to really get the idea. In her latest episodes, she has slowed down.

Deutsch Direkt

These are older videos, but the channel also has good listening practice as well. Very useful, if old fashioned.

Peppa Wutz

Even though it is a kids show, this show helps with my listening comprehension. I'm still at a low level in German, so might as well watch cartoons too! So cute!

This channel has quite a few older shows designed to help you learn German. This one is a favorite because the character in the show is trying to learn German too. Many times he asks people to repeat themselves, so you have another chance to listen.
